Review – Severe traumatic brain injury management and clinical outcome using the Lund concept

In the reviewers own words: “This review covers the main principles of the Lund concept for treatment of severe traumatic brain injury. This is followed by a description of results of clinical studies in which this therapy or a modified version of the therapy has been used.”

Published 2014 in Neuroscience by Koskinen et al. Access the abstract here.

This publication by Swedish colleagues, some of whom are part of the Lund University Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Department, is an interesting adjunct to the Cochrane Collaboration review that failed to find any studies suitable for inclusion.
